RSPCA 2009 POOPS Calendar
POOPS - Pets Of Older Persons - A3 Calendar
POOPs was established in 2003 by St Joseph's Hospital Auburn's Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). Set up to care for the pets of older persons in the community, the hospital and the RSPCA formed a partnership to provide veterinary assistance.
This may include:
* Monitoring of pets by RSPCA staff
* Support in caring for pets
* Treatment by RSPCA vets (when required)
* Foster care for pets should their owner require hospitalisation
* Assistance with pet food (if required)
* Monthly grooming.
